Air Pollution Control

Man's Sole Existence on This Planet Hinges on the Presence of the Air that We Breathe, for Without This Source of Oxygen, There Can be No Life.  However, With Man's Activities, All Kinds of Organic and Inorganic Substances are Continuously Released into this Same Body of Air that We Depend On.

Air Can be Regarded as Polluted in Many Different Ways.  Polluted Air can be Toxic, Corrosive, Flammable, Odourous, Bio-Contaminated and Even Wet or Dusty to Pose Huge Health Problems and Hazards to Man, Material, Machine and the Environment.  To Safeguard Ourselves from Harm,  Every Country Has its Own Set of Regulations to Control and Mitigate Various Identified Air Pollutants Generated by Man.

Thus, It is to Our Utmost Interest that We Protect and Preserve the Quality of Air that We Breathe and So We Must Adopt the Best Practices and Technology Available to Abate these Air Pollutants and Contaminants

In accordance to what is called the Law of Conservation of Mass, the mechanism of Air Pollution Control is very similar to this principle because as mass cannot be destroyed but merely converted into another form, air pollutants are not really "destroyed" but rather they are "converted" or "captured" or "neutralised" into other form of wastes in either or both the solid or liquid state.  Usually, such conversions involve chemical changes where heat, electrical or mechanical energy etc are also introduced to fuel the change.  As a result, byproduct waste will be created in the process of removing air pollution but such wastes are usually either harmless or its disposal can be properly contained and managed

We have various abatement systems specially designed for the removal of target contaminants

Chemical gases such as acidic, caustic, ammonia and solvent gases can be abated via the following abatement systems

Semiconductor and PV Industry:

 - Steam Plasma Scrubber: PFC Abatement (PFC is one of the 6 Global Warming Gases identified by the UNFCCC)

 - Thermal Wet Scrubber: Etch, Thin Film (CVD/PVD), Diffusion Modules

 - Dry Absorbent and Wet Scrubbers: Etch, Thin Film (CVD/PVD), Implant and Diffusion Modules

 - Central VOC/Solvent Abatement System: Facilities Exhaust

Almost all front end semiconductor manufacturing fabs use large quantities of solvents like the Alcohols (e.g. IPA), Ketones (e.g. acetones, MBK), Esthers (e.g. ethyl acetates), Ethers (e.g. PGMEA), Hydrocarbons (e.g. Toulene), Aldehydes etc in their manufacturing processes and these are being exhausted out directly into the atmosphere.

Most of these solvents are extremely odourous and pose as odour pollution in the environment.  To certain extent, these solvents/VOCs can even be carcinogenic to humans who are exposed to it (especially if neighbouring residents live near to these manufacturing plants)

Thus, our central VOC abatement system is specially designed to effectively remove these pollutants before it is being discharged to the external atmosphere by these factories.  Our taiwanese principal is one of the largest supplier of these abatement systems to the semiconductor industry in Taiwan for past 20 years and we are the pioneers to install such systems in some of the wafer fabs in Singapore since 1999.
